Dr. Seow has a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic degree, both from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He has been practicing in Singapore since the year 2015 and eventually established Macquarie Chiropractic in the year 2018.
A basketball injury that inflicted Dr. Seow when he was a 12-year-old led him to follow a profession as a Chiropractor. An initial label of disc herniation and scoliosis had left him with no other options, other than painkillers daily and “awaiting surgical intervention” command until he was 17. At this age, he met Dr. Timothy Chang, one of the only chiropractors back then in Sabah, Malaysia. Consistent visits and treatment by Dr. Tim eventually stopped all signs and symptoms of disc herniation and scoliosis.
Being a Chiropractic patient himself, Dr. Seow can certainly relate to what the majority of his patients have to go through on a daily basis; especially in Singapore, where most are working in a desk-bound environment with little to no exercise. He is energized in delivering chiropractic treatment and adjustments because he never views Chiropractic as work, as this is the passion and duty that he has for the public; to serve and to assist everyone in thriving and achieving a better, healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Tian Jing Yu grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and graduated from New Zealand College of Chiropractic. He provided care for the community of his home city and moved to Singapore in 2017 to further care for the community of Singapore.
When Dr. Tian was growing up, his mother developed many areas of aches and pain throughout her body; as well as, frozen shoulder. His mom sought for chiropractic care and saw fantastic results. Later, himself and his family members all got under chiropractic care and have been for many years for general wellness. This experience has lead Dr. Tian to study chiropractic with a strong will to help others and for them to experience the benefits of chiropractic care as he and his family did.
Dr. Tian is passionate in utilizing chiropractic care to help you reach your health goals and wants you to always be at your best. He is grateful for all those he has cared for in the past and will continue providing chiropractic care to many more in the future.
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. The nervous system controls the essential functions of the body, comprising the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Chiropractic focuses on the nervous system and its relationship to your body including your muscles, joints, and bones. Throughout your spine, areas of spinal stress can occur, causing impairment to the nervous system.
Chiropractors are trained to locate regions where spinal stress occurs, through a thorough examination of the spine. Soft tissue massage and specific spinal adjustments then help to reduce the irritation in the nervous system — chiropractic realignments aid your body to heal and regulate itself naturally. Chiropractic spinal adjustments are internationally recognized and considered substantially useful for all, young and old.
Macquarie Chiropractic is the FIRST and ONLY chiropractic clinic in Singapore that is well equipped with:

When you arrive, you will be given a new patient form to fill out. This information provides the chiropractor with background about your health, such as any past surgeries, accidents, the history of your symptoms and other details about your current state of health.
After reviewing your history and discussing any specific problems, the chiropractor will perform numerous orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic assessments. These examinations help identify areas of spinal and nervous system dysfunction.
After which, the chiropractor will conduct further investigation, any imaging (X-Rays, MRI, CT scans, etc.) whichever that may deem necessary to uncover structural and functional problems. It would be ideal to bring along previous documentation and imaging documents that you have had previously to assist the diagnosis of your conditions further.
Finally, The findings of these examinations are explained, and the chiropractor will recommend a plan of chiropractic adjustments.
